Troubleshooting Common Issues

Sometimes, Echo users may encounter minor issues that can be easily fixed. Here are some common problems and how to resolve them:

  1. Echo Is Not Joining My Meeting

    • Solution: Ensure your calendar integration is working correctly. Check if Echo has permission to access your Google or Microsoft Calendar. Re-sync your calendar under Settings > Integrations.

    • If you're using a video conferencing platform like Zoom or Teams, make sure the meeting ID and join links are correctly added to Echo's calendar and that the meeting is scheduled for the correct time.

    • Another common issue we see is users that have changed the settings on their dashboards from 'Echo joins all meetings' to 'only join meetings I own'. Check this setting as a troubleshooting step.

  2. Echo Is Not Sending Recaps

    • Solution: Verify your email and notification preferences under Settings > Notifications. Make sure the email address linked to your account is correct and that your notifications are set to be sent after each meeting.

  3. Integration Issues with Third-Party Apps

    • Solution: If Echo isn’t syncing with your CRM or calendar, check if there is a connection issue by logging out and logging back into the integrations. If the problem persists, try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration to refresh the connection.
